My list of writing competitions for non-fiction writers had been getting a little unwieldy of late, so I decided to separate it into three distinct lists:
* one dedicated to UK / Ireland / Europe — click here;
* one dedicated to US / Canada — click here;
* and one dedicated to Australia / New Zealand — click here.
I’m afraid the last of these is slightly sparse at the time of writing, so can offer only apologies to my Antipodean followers as I work to populate it.
Please bear in mind that many of the competitions listed may well be open to writers from outside those areas, so don’t necessarily limit yourself to just one.
I may compile a list each for Africa and for India / Asia if I can find enough to populate them and readers want them?
Suggestions are very welcome on all of the above — and indeed for my Markets for Writers pages — but non-fiction only please!
